Program Educational Objectives

The BS in Electronics Engineering program is geared towards producing graduates who have the following attributes after three to five years from graduation:

  1. Graduates demonstrate technical expertise and practical skills in the field of electronics engineering.
  2. Graduates demonstrate flexibility in working with multidisciplinary teams and apply professional and ethical responsibility in the practice of electronics engineering.
  3. Graduates are engaged in lifelong learning and knowledgeable in contemporary issues relevant to the field of electronics engineering.

The BS in Electrical Engineering program is geared towards producing graduates who have the following attributes after three to five years from graduation:

The BS in Computer Engineering program is geared towards producing graduates who have the following attributes after three to five years from graduation:

  2. Graduates demonstrate flexibility in working with multidisciplinary teams and apply professional and ethical responsibility in the practice of computer engineering.
  3. Graduates are engaged in lifelong learning and knowledgeable in contemporary issues relevant to the field of computer engineering.

The BS in Civil Engineering program is geared towards producing graduates who have the following attributes after three to five years from graduation:

  1. Graduates demonstrate technical expertise and practical skills in the field of civil engineering.
  2. Graduates demonstrate flexibility in working with multidisciplinary teams and apply professional and ethical responsibility in the practice of civil engineering.
  3. Graduates are engaged in lifelong learning and knowledgeable in contemporary issues relevant to the field of civil engineering.

Program Outcomes

The program outcomes of BS in Electronics Engineering program are:

  1. Apply knowledge of mathematics and science to solve engineering problems
  2. Design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data
  3. Design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability, in accordance with standards
  4. Function on multidisciplinary teams
  5. Identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems
  6. Apply professional and ethical responsibility
  7. Communicate effectively
  8. Identify the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context
  9. Recognize the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning
  10. Apply knowledge of contemporary issues
  11. Use techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice
  12. apply knowledge of engineering and management principles as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.
  13. Understand at least one specialized field of electronics engineering practice

  5. Identify, formulate and solve complex problems in electrical engineering
  6. Recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering practice

  10. Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the field of electrical engineering
