SSCT’s 6th College President, Dr. Gregorio Z. Gamboa Jr., was born on the 6th day of March 1959 at Maranding , Lala, Lanao del Norte. He is a graduate of two-year Technical Course Major in Marine Engineering at Cebu Schools of Arts and Trade (CSAT), Cebu City in 1977. He later finished his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education (BSIE) degree from the same institution in 1986. He earned his Master’s Degree in Technician Education (MTE) at Marikina Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Marikina City. In 2005, Dr. Gamboa finished his Doctorate degree in Education specializing Educational Management at University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF), in Cebu City.
