“SNSU Formally Issues the Appointments to Non-Teaching and Teaching Personnel and Holds Orientation on RA 6713”
Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) recently conducted the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan and formally issued the appointments for the seventy-eight (78) newly hired and promoted non-teaching employees per BOR Resolution No. 201 s. 2022 for the Hiring of the Non-Teaching Positions under the Revised Organization and Staffing Standards for SUCs (ROSSS), and thirty-three (33) newly hired Instructors I pursuant to BOR Resolution No. 162 s. 2024 on April 8, 2024 at the SNSU Gymnasium.
Further, pursuant to BOR Resolution Nos. 203 and 204 s. 2024, a total of one hundred sixteen (116) newly reclassified faculty members under DBM-CHED Joint Circular No. 3 s. 2022 were also included in the issuance of appointments and oath-taking ceremony, marking their transition to higher academic ranks within the university structure.
The giving of appointments was led by Dir. Alan B. Besario, Director II-CSC Surigao del Norte, the University President, Dr. Gregorio Z. Gamboa, Jr., Vice-Presidents, and HRMO-Designate.
An orientation program on Republic Act 6713, was also presented and discussed by Dir. Alan B. Besario, to all newly hired personnel and re-orientation to those who are already in the service in keeping them aware of the “Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees”. This provision serves as a guiding framework for government agencies to instill integrity, transparency, and accountability among public servants.
