As part of this year’s focus of the International Women’s Day Celebration “DigitALL:Innovation and technology for gender equality”, SNSU City Campus Celebrates the Women’s Month with a talk on Digital StartUp Development and Acceleration Program and Cybersecurity Awareness and Overview of Data Privacy Act of 2012 on March 27,2023 at the Academic Hall.

The 2023 National Women’s Month Celebration will promote women’s and girls’ empowerment so they may gain the most from innovation and technology while also closing the gender gap in ICT and connectivity.

The success of the said activity is the result of a fruitful partnership between SNSU and DICT Caraga. Mr. Mario Cuñado,Regional Director-DICT Caraga, graced the activity and gave his message to all the men and women of SNSU emphasizing on the programs and projects that DICT could offer to the institution in serving its clientele better. He also stressed how important it is that we are digitally secure from the cyber world we are at present.

The whole day activity is packed with lectures from Ms. Charmaine May A. Ejandra and Mr. Dean Joshua Solis, Project Development Officer, ICT Industry and Development Bureau who talked on Digital Startup Development and Acceleration Program (DSDAP). On the afternoon, Mr. Reymar A. Estafia, Planning Officer II, Cybersecurity Bureau delivered his talk on Cybersecurity Awareness and Data Privacy Act of 2012 .

The said activity was attended by the GAD Focal Point System, administration, faculty, staff and students.
