The newly appointed Chairperson of the SNSU Board of Regents, Commissioner Aldrin A. Darilag, embarked on his first institutional visit at SNSU on May 9, 2024. The SNSU Administration led by our University President, Dr. Gregorio Z. Gamboa, Jr., Vice-Presidents, Campus Directors, College Deans, Program Chairs, faculty, staff, and students warmly welcomed the Commissioner with enthusiasm signaling a fresh chapter of the university’s governance and direction.

Present in the event are the presidents of Caraga SUCs, CSU President, Dr. Rolyn Daguil and NEMSU President, Dr. Nemesio Loayon.
During his visit, Commissioner Darilag also delivered his talk entitled, “Towards a Healthy Learning Institution”. With extensive knowledge in the field of medicine and healthcare, he emphasized the importance of fostering “Health Promoting Schools” which is one that constantly strengthens its capacity as a healthy setting for living, learning, and working.

Commissioner Darilag’s visit served as a catalyst for rejuvenation and growth within SNSU. With a renewed sense of purpose and direction, the SNSU community stands poised to embark on a journey of educational innovation and transformation under Commissioner Darilag’s stewardship.
