Surigao del Norte State University Conducts Mid-Year Performance Review

๐˜š๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ท๐˜ช๐˜ญ๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ ๐˜Š๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ, ๐˜‰๐˜ถ๐˜ต๐˜ถ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ ๐˜Š๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜บ | ๐˜‘๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ 18โ€“19, 2025 โ€” Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) held its Midyear Performance Review at Southville Hotel & Convention Center, bringing together key university officials to evaluate institutional progress for the past 6 months and strengthen alignment with strategic priorities for the remainder of the year.

The event was organized by the Planning and Development Office, headed by Dr. Kristopher M. Ngilangil, and was participated in by Campus Directors, College Deans, and Unit Heads across the SNSU system. Facilitated by Engr. Gracechell M. Pascua, Director of the Gender and Development (GAD) Office, the two-day review served as a venue for reflection, coordination, and recalibration of goals.

A major highlight of the event was the presentation of accomplishments and strategic updates by the university’s three Vice Presidents:

Dr. Mauricio S. Adlaon, Vice President for Administration, reported on infrastructure development, human resource enhancements, and financial management efforts.

Dr. Ronita E. Talingting, Vice President for Academic Affairs, discussed curriculum innovations, faculty development initiatives, and academic quality assurance measures.

Dr. Romy Jun A. Sunico, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension, shared key milestones in research productivity, community engagement, and innovation-driven programs.

The University President Dr. Rowena A. Plando, in her heartfelt message, reaffirms her administrationโ€™s commitment to inclusive and transformative leadership. She called on the SNSU community to support the full integration of her 8-Point Agenda and “LINGAS” Framework, both central to the vision of responsive governance for inclusive growth, empowered lives and service- focused future.

The Midyear Performance Review concluded with renewed dedication among SNSU leaders to sustain institutional growth, uphold academic excellence, and collectively drive the university toward its long-term goals.
