The Opening Program started with the Invocation, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, SNSU Hymn, and PAEPI Hymn led by the SNSU Chorale.

The welcome message was delivered by SNSU President, Dr. Rowena A. Plando. This was followed by the acknowledgment of participants by Dr. Ma. Cristina S. Dela Cerna; a message on behalf of the LGU of Del Carmen from Hon. Alfredo M. Coro II (duly represented by Ms. Laelanie Lipio); and an inspirational message by PAEPI President, Dr. Hermogenes Paguia. An intermission number by the SNSU Chorale added a vibrant note to the program.

The highlight of the program was the keynote segment, beginning with the introduction of the keynote speaker by Prof. Lorenzo B. Isla. This was followed by the keynote speech delivered by Mr. Giva Kappusamy, CEO and Founder of GK Aqua SDN BHD, Malaysia. His presentation, titled “Innovating Sustainable Aquaculture: Biotechnology-Driven Solutions”, captured the audience’s attention and inspired forward-thinking discussions.

The Opening Program concluded with the awarding of a Plaque of Appreciation to the keynote speaker, marking the formal start of the Plenary Session at 10:30 AM.
