WELCOME to the 2025 PAEPI INTERNATIONAL EXTENSION CONGRESS!

The day is here! As the event kicks off to unpack the most awaited activities, we thank the Lord God Almighty for the gift of gathering together at the 2025 PAEPI INTERNATIONAL EXTENSION CONGRESS! Local, national, and international attendees from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) came all the way to Siargao Island to join the PAEPI International Extension Congress held at the Del Carmen Convention Center, in the Municipality of Del Carmen, Surigao del Norte. Heads of SUCs, including their Research and Extension Directors, led groups of passionate and dedicated extensionists—all united by a common goal: to connect and collaborate in empowering communities toward sustainable and inclusive development through Science and Technology extension platforms.
At the onset, we wish to acknowledge the PAEPI officials, headed by President Dr. Hermogenes Paguia; the Local Government Unit of Del Carmen, Surigao del Norte through Mayor, the Honorable Alfredo M. Coro II; and Surigao del Norte State University, headed by President Dr. Rowena A. Plando, for hosting this remarkable congress. We also extend our thanks to our co-organizers—NorthEastern Mindanao State University, headed by President Dr. Nemesion Loayon, and the Philippine Association of Agriculturists – Tamarind Chapter.
Our invited guest speakers, attendees, prime movers, and Technical Working Groups (TWGs), filled with enthusiasm and high spirits, now look forward to a more productive and impactful day ahead.
