DAY 1: 2025 PAEPI INTERNATIONAL EXTENSION CONGRESS

WELCOME to the 2025 PAEPI INTERNATIONAL EXTENSION CONGRESS!

June 10, 2025

The day started with the preparation of the Del Carmen Convention Center, where the 2025 PAEPI International Extension Congress will hold its 3-day gathering (June 11–13, 2025). The theme for this event is: Enhancing Science and Technology Extension Platforms for Sustainable and Inclusive Communities. It all began with the arrival and acceptance of local, national, and international attendees right at the venue. Pre-registered participants were promptly accommodated, claiming their kits and IDs at designated areas. Confirmed participants via PAEPI emails proceeded to the on-site payment counter, where walk-ins were also entertained. Visible in the hall were PAEPI officials and mobilizers, headed by PAEPI President, Dr. Hermogenes Paguia; SNSU officials led by University President, Dr. Rowena A. Plando; VP for Research, Innovation, and Extension (RIE), Dr. Romy June A. Sunico; SNSU-DC Campus Director, Dr. Joey G. Escauso; Director for Internationalization, Dr. Louella S. Degamon; along with all members of the Technical Working Groups and various Committees. The TWGs were positioned throughout the hall, diligently performing their respective tasks. By 6:00 PM, the stage and grounds were finally made ready, setting the tone for the big days ahead.

PAEPI and SNSU have officially set the ball rolling—anticipating more future extension-related collaborations and participations, all in pursuit of nothing less than making this world a better place for the communities we serve.
