August 7, 2025 – The 12th Regular Board of Regents (BOR) Meeting of Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) was officially convened today at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central Office, Diliman Campus, Quezon City.

Presided over by CHED Chairperson and SNSU-BOR Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, the meeting covered an extensive agenda composed of 30 action items—of which only two were deferred for further review.

Among the highlights of the meeting were the following approved resolutions: the establishment of extension classes in the Province of Dinagat Islands, the approval of Institutional Manuals, and the Curriculum Revisions of 13 Graduate Programs.

SNSU extends its profound gratitude to Dr. Agrupis for her insightful stewardship that continues to inspire innovation, academic integrity, and visionary leadership.

The university also recognizes with appreciation the invaluable contributions of the esteemed members of the Board of Regents and Resource Person, CHEDRO Director, RD Nelia A. Alibin, who provided further depth and expertise to the discussions.

A special commendation is extended to the university officials, faculty, and the Office of the University Board Secretary for their meticulous preparation of documents, proposals, and presentations.

Their hard work significantly contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the meeting.
