Evaluation and Monitoring of the “Adopt A Hectare” Extension Program at Surigao Watershed Forest Reserve

The College of Teacher Education (CTE) successfully conducted an evaluation and monitoring activity as part of the extension project, “Adopt A Hectare at Surigao Watershed Forest Reserve.” This initiative involved assessing the survival and conditions of previously planted seedlings, locally known as Duyok2.

The activity also included replanting and maintenance efforts to ensure the preservation and sustainability of the designated area within the Surigao Watershed Resource Reserve. This event is a crucial component of the university’s continual program evaluation process for extension services. The monitoring efforts signify the institution’s commitment to environmental conservation and community engagement, reinforcing the long-term impact of this reforestation program.
