The College of Engineering (CE) of Surigao del Norte State University – Surigao City is committed to producing highly competent engineers equipped with the knowledge and skills to meet industry and societal needs. The college currently offers the following degree programs:

OBE Framework
In compliance with Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Memorandum Orders No. 37 and No. 46, series of 2012, the College of Engineering of Surigao del Norte State University adopts the Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) framework in the implementation of all its academic programs. The OBE framework ensures that program design, instruction, and assessment are anchored on clearly defined learning outcomes, supported by an enabling learning environment, appropriate teaching-learning activities, and systematic assessment and evaluation processes.
At the core of the College of Engineering’s OBE framework are its Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), which are directly aligned with the Vision, Mission, and Goals of the University. The PEOs serve as the guiding foundation for program outcomes, course outcomes, and student learning outcomes. Furthermore, these objectives and outcomes are subjected to a continuous quality assurance cycle and accreditation process to ensure compliance with national and international standards of Outcomes-Based Education, and to maintain relevance to industry needs and societal development.
Admission Requirements
Applicants to the 5-year programs in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE), Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSECE), Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), and Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) must have attained an overall average grade of at least 85%, with no grade lower than 80% in Science and Mathematics subjects, and must successfully pass the university entrance examination to qualify for admission.
