SNSU MAINIT CAMPUS CONDUCTED A FIVE-DAY IN-HOUSE LET REVIEW

Surigao del Norte State University—Mainit Campus welcomed the 2022 BTLEd pioneers and other SSCT alumni at the Biodiversity Building for a five-day in-house review for the upcoming Licensure Examination for Teachers last March 6–10, 2023.

It was a grand event for the aspiring future LPTs who will be part of the teaching industry and a proud product of SSCT/SNSU—Mainit Campus. The review started with a warm welcome to the alumni and pioneers of SSCT with the heartfelt messages rendered by magnanimous sage gurus and instructors of SNSU, Dr. Juliet Ruth D. Mozar with her welcome address, unbending will and excitement to welcome the participants and introduce the valiant alumni who will impart their knowledge, skills, and strategies in passing the LET, as well as the inspiring message of Dr. Emalina L. Ebol.

The guest lecturers were all graduates of SSCT/SNSU—Mainit Campus, whose scope of expertise broadened with years of experience. Mrs. Genebei Faith Saratorio Sajolan, a Teacher III as well as a Division Quality Assurance Chairperson in TLE at Senior High School who teaches at Tubod National High School, paved her way to magnify and enlighten the minds of the reviewers in the fields of entrepreneurship, cosmetology, foods, trainer methodology, and research. On the other hand, Mrs. Cheryl C. Rodriguez, a Teacher III and a Division Quality Assurance Chairperson in TLE for Junior High School who teaches at Timamana National High School, fills the corners of the room with laughter and learning with her amazing social skills and expertise in the fields of drafting, ICT, business math, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and electricity. Mr. Jerve B. Salinas, a Teacher I and a school farm demonstrator at Gigaquit National High School of Home Industries, imparted his knowledge in the fields of animal production, crop protection, aquaculture, and fishing.

The engagement, participation, and discussions during the review radiate a learning environment in which both lecturers and participants learned together. The blood of SSCT/SNSU resonates in their hearts as they pursue their paths in education. The inspirational message given by Dr. Emalina L. Ebol (“Kaya lage niju ton”) rings in every ear of those who were inspired, as they were taught to believe in themselves, not waste any time, and know what to prioritize. They were wrapped with knowledge, skills, and encouragement to achieve a 100% passing rate of takers and find their names listed on the results. The event ended on March 10, 2023, with the giving of certificates to the lecturers and an unbending faith as they prayed together with only one thing in mind: “We will pass the LET exam!”
