November 17, 2025 – The Surigao del Norte State University President Dr. Rowena A. Plando together with other university officials, Vice President for Administration Dr. Mauricio S. Adlaon, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ronita E. Talingting, and Attorney IV Atty. Vannesa R. Compasivo, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of CHED Commissioner and newly designated Chairman of the SNSU Board of Regents, Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino on November 17, 2025.

The team extended their congratulations and conveyed the university’s full support under his chairmanship. During the visit, they also discussed key matters on SNSU’s academic direction, particularly the program offerings across its various campuses and other ongoing initiatives.

The visit opened doors for meaningful collaboration and affirmed the university’s enthusiasm to move forward with new ideas and initiatives under the Commissioner’s guidance.
