November 18, 2025 – Quezon City Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) successfully convened its 13th Regular Board of Regents (BOR) Meeting today at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central Office, Diliman, Quezon City.

Presided over by the newly designated BOR Chairperson, Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino, the session tackled a comprehensive agenda of 33 action items for approval and confirmation—with 31 key items approved and only two deferred for further review.

Among the major milestones of the meeting was the Board’s approval of the implementation and filling-up of 134 items under the National Budget Circular (NBC) 589-ROSS II, marking a significant step forward in strengthening SNSU’s workforce and operational capacity in Research, Innovation and Extension. SNSU extends its profound gratitude to Dr. Aquino for his insights and steadfast commitment to uplifting the university.
