𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 – SNSU President Dr. Rowena A. Plando along with University Officials – Dr. Ronita E. Talingting (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Dr. Mauricio S. Adlaon, (Vice President for Administration), Atty. Vannesa R. Compasivo (Attorney IV), and Dr. Raymon Española (Director of Curriculum Development), visited the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) College of Law as part of their ongoing preparations for the proposed offering of Juris Doctor (JD) program. The visit served as a benchmarking activity aimed to gain valuable insights and best practices to guide the development and implementation of the proposed program offering.

The SNSU delegation was warmly welcomed by Atty. Gemy Lito L. Festin, Dean of the PUP College of Law, alongside members of the faculty and Dr. Sanjay P. Claudio, Director of Quality Assurance, who shared their expertise and experiences in law education and quality standards. They provided comprehensive information on the requirements necessary for the offering of the JD program, including the faculty development plan and other pertinent details that would support the university in effectively preparing for the program’s implementation.

Sincerest gratitude is extended to PUP President Dr. Manuel M. Muhi for the support extended during this academic engagement. Heartfelt appreciation is also extended to Atty. Festin, Dr. Claudio, and the entire PUP College of Law faculty for their warm welcome and generous sharing of knowledge during the benchmarking activity.
